We have a new recording to listen to and download, It's called 'Get The Funk Outta Here', and it was recoded at the legendary Mushroom studios in Vancouver, which recently closed forever. We were invited to do the last recording sessions there as a special event.
In December 2011 Yaletown String Quartet performed at SFU Woodward's Milton Wong Experimental Theatre.
The event - Metacreation Concert: "Deus ex Machina" Music by Arne Eigenfeldt and James Maxwell.
We then recorded the works! Stay tuned for samples.
On August 24, 2011 YSQ donated a concert to raise awareness for OneMatch.ca, Canada's stem cell registry. OneMatch is part of Canadian Blood Services and is building a database of potential donors to save the lives of people with Leukemia and Lymphoma!
